    Digital Campaign Marketer

    Overview

    We are looking for an energetic, results-driven Digital Campaign Marketer to support the marketing team in the development, implementation, optimization and tracking of digital product marketing campaigns for AGI Group brands.

    The role will support digital campaign marketing activity for the global brands within the AGI Group: AGI Glassplant (www.agi-glassplant.com) and Syrris (www.syrris.com), in addition to local glassware brands, Glass Solutions, Cambridge Glassblowing and Glaskeller.     The role reports to the Marketing Manager and will involve working collaboratively across the Marketing team to ensure best practice is adhered to, and product marketing campaigns are implemented and promoted across a variety of digital channels and ad platforms. The ideal candidate will be a tech savvy self-starter who is keen to make a positive impact.

    Job Brief

    The Digital Campaign Marketer role requires demonstrable experience in leading integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution across digital platforms. Working very closely with our Marketing Communications Executive and Graphic Designer, the Digital Campaign Marketer will support the digital strategy and execution plan for our product marketing campaigns, ensuring relevant digital channels are adopted to promote valuable online content to a targeted audience. The Digital Campaign Marketer will focus on continuously improving each product marketing campaign based on buyer behavior and user interaction, and will be responsible for tracking the success of each campaign based on defined KPIs and ROI criteria.

    A strong grasp of digital marketing best practices, tools and strategies is required. This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced digital marketer to put their stamp on digital campaign marketing activities across the AGI Group, demonstrating best practice and adopting the most relevant digital channels/tools to support our B2B marketing objectives.

    To be successful in the role, you should have previous experience in a digital role, preferably with focus on implementing and tracking digital product marketing campaign activity. A minimum of two years of experience using CRM software (ideally Salesforce) and marketing automation software (ideally Pardot) – used for campaign configuration and tracking – is advantageous. We’re looking for proven experience in developing, implementing and tracking integrated digital marketing campaigns for lead generation and brand awareness in a B2B marketing environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Plan and execute integrated digital campaigns that promote valuable, meaningful content to the right audience using the most appropriate digital channels, including, but not limited to, SEM/SEO, email, web content, and digital ad platforms
    • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaign activity, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
    • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
    • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
    • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
    • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels, and customer touchpoints
    • Evaluate emerging technologies and provide new perspectives for adoption where appropriate
    • Contribute to marketing effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed
    • Analytical reporting across multichannel campaigns

    Requirements

    • Degree in Marketing or related field
    • 3+ years working experience in a digital marketing role, with a preferred focus on inbound marketing campaign activity
    • Proven experience in formulating and implementing digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate, ultimately supporting our MQL process
    • Proven experience in tracking and reporting on digital campaign activities
    • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
    • Experience using Salesforce and Pardot
    • Experience in implementing campaigns using Engagement Studio in Pardot
    • Experience in developing and implementing MQL and SQL email campaigns
    • Experience in using ad platforms to drive new user acquisition, including PPC, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Ads, Google Display
    • Knowledge of website analytic tools Working knowledge of HTML and WordPress
    • Experience in optimizing SEO for ongoing website enhancement and improvement
    • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing
    • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels preferable

    Embedded Software Engineer – C/C++

    Overview

    We are now seeking a bright and devoted software engineer to join the expanding software team. The role will be involved in the development of premium quality chemical processing equipment marketed within the Syrris (www.syrris.com) and AGI (www.agi-glassplant.com) brands.

    The role will report to the Software Engineering Manager of AGI UK and work within a multi-disciplinary R&D department consisting of electro-mechanical, software and test engineers. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, willing to learn and keen to make a positive impact.

    Job brief

    The Embedded Software Engineer will be involved in the implementation and delivery of a wide range of high-quality software solutions for laboratory-scale to pilot-plant scale automation products used in the synthesis of chemicals.

    The Embedded Software Engineer will be expected to produce and maintain good quality software while working within a small Agile team.

    To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in software development, appreciate the real-world constraints associated with a complex software development and understand how the software interacts with the wider engineering solution.

    Responsibilities

    Duties will include but are not limited to:

    • Participating in all stages of the software development process for new product development.
    • Supporting continuous product improvement activities for existing products.
    • Adopting engineering best practices such as TDD, CI/CD, code reviews and clean code.
    • Collaborating with the product owner in discovering product requirements.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree 2.1 and above in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Physics.
    • Minimum two years’ full-time professional experience in object-oriented software development.
    • Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages.
    • Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems.
    • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
    • Self-motivated team player with ability to work autonomously.

    Some non-essential but desirable experiences include:

    • Knowledge in common hardware interfaces, i.e. RS232, USB, Ethernet etc.
    • Experience with development of desktop and embedded applications.
    • Experience of Linux systems, embedded OS and microcontrollers.
    • Experience in Python development.
    • Familiarity with Agile software development methodology.
    • Experience of working in the chemical, pharmaceutical or industrial sectors.
