    Technical Application Specialist – Batch Chemistry Products

    Royston, UK

    Overview

    We are now seeking a bright and enthusiastic person to work within the batch reactor product team, providing a great opportunity for a commercially-minded scientist to move into a customer facing scientific role.

    Reporting to the Batch Chemistry Leader, the successful candidate will have a relevant background in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering and will offer technical and application support to both internal and external stakeholders.

    Responsibilities

    Duties will include but are not limited to:

    • Interacting with customers to help them understand which of our products they need to buy for their application and how to best use our products to support their application
    • Performing customer demos and installations, both on-site and off-site, and attending conferences and exhibitions to help sell our products.
    • Presenting and hosting sessions on chemistry applications during training, workshops, and webinars both on-site and off-site.
    • Generating application/technical notes for batch reactor products and conduct feasibility studies for prospective customers.
    • Testing our products in-house, to ensure they meet the customer’s expectations for performance and quality.
    • Supporting the Sales and Marketing teams with data and content creation (e.g. datasheets, PR materials, technical proof reading, web page content) and technical sales support materials.
    • Responsible for managing demo kit needed for customer demonstrations and exhibitions etc.
    • Keeping a scientific literature watch, identifying publications mentioning AG!/Syrris products as well as new applications that could be conducted using AG!/Syrris products.
    • Managing projects to bring new products to market while working closely with R&D to ensure the new products are fit for the market

    Requirements

      • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
      • Laboratory experience essential
      • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills with the ability to relay complex technical information in a clear manner
      • A proficiency in technical and scientific document writing
      • A willingness to travel inside and outside the UK.
      • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
      • Beneficial to hold driving license

    Graduate Embedded Software Engineer – C/C++

    Overview

    We are now seeking a bright and devoted software engineer to join the expanding software team. The role will be involved in the development of premium quality chemical processing equipment marketed within the Syrris (www.syrris.com) and AGI (www.agi-glassplant.com) brands.

    The role will report to the Software Engineering Manager of AGI UK and work within a multi-disciplinary R&D department consisting of electro-mechanical, software and test engineers. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, willing to learn and keen to make a positive impact.

    The Graduate Embedded Software Engineer will be involved in the implementation and delivery of a wide range of high-quality software solutions for laboratory-scale to pilot-plant scale automation products used in the synthesis of chemicals.

    The Graduate Embedded Software Engineer will be expected to produce and maintain good quality software while working within a small Agile team.

    CRM and Marketing Automation Specialist

    We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic CRM and Marketing Automation Specialist to support the marketing team with the management and maintenance of our CRM, Salesforce, and Marketing Automation platform, Pardot. The CRM Digital Marketer will support the marketing team with the operational implementation of campaign activity, ensuring a seamless alignment of activities between Salesforce and Pardot for performance tracking and reporting.

    The role CRM and Marketing Automation Specialist will focus on the implementation of marketing campaign activities in Pardot to drive lead generation, boost brand awareness and support sales initiatives.

    The CRM and Marketing Automation Specialist will help with operational activities relating to day-to-day management of Pardot and Salesforce including: campaign setup, tracking and reporting across Pardot and Salesforce; supporting the MQL and SQL process; data quality management; monthly reporting on activities; managing and maintaining Salesforce dashboards and reports.

    The ideal candidate will have proficient experience in managing CRM and Marketing Automation, ensuring best practice is being followed across marketing and sales activities and aligning with MQL and SQL activities.     Be the expert user on CRM (Salesforce) and Marketing Automation (Pardot) platforms

    • Working with the Marketing Manager to define a CRM strategy that will drive retention rates and the lifetime value of our consumers across our portfolio of brands
    • Support marketing team in developing target audiences and campaigns for various communications and promotional efforts.
    • Provide recommendations on how to leverage CRM to execute on strategic vision, including lead scoring, prospecting, and retention strategies.
    • Create strategies for sales campaigns within Salesforce, and effectively communicate strategies for implementation.
    • Analyse campaign performance and clearly articulate insight for how to improve engagement.
    • Maintain daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reports and dashboards that measure productivity and support the day-to day needs of the commercial team
    • Manage Salesforce and Pardot process, workflow rules, and business logic to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency

    Job Brief

    The Digital Marketer role will support the marketing team with the development and execution of an effective digital marketing strategy for both inbound and outbound marketing activities, ensuring our valuable online content is promoted to a relevant, targeted audience.     Responsibilities

    • Proven experience in Digital Marketing role for B2B, producing and executing content to deliver best-in-class digital marketing
    • Demonstrable success in managing, measuring and analysing B2B digital marketing campaigns including paid search, display, paid social
    • Experience working with website optimisation tools for A/B and multivariate testing preferable (Google Optimise, GTM, etc.)
    • Understand the conversion funnel, and the implications that has on acquisition channels and retention
    • Proven experience using LinkedIn Campaign Manager to create lead generation campaigns
    • Significant exposure to social media marketing and engagement practices across all digital channels.
